OSAKA, JAPAN
The Philippine Community Coordinating Council (PCCC) in Kansai, in partnership with the Migrant Workers Office in Osaka held the PCCC Christmas Celebration dubbed “Disco Party – 80’s to Gen Z’s” on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The event, which started at 3p.m. and lasted until 9 p.m. was held at the Oyodo Community Center at Honjo Higashi, Kita-ku, Osaka City. About 500 Filipinos, young and old alike, joined and danced the night away, from modern, hip-hop, ballroom and many more. The Philippine Consul General to Osaka, Voltaire Mauricio joined the Filipino cimmunity in this Pre-Christmas event.
MWO-Osaka sponsored the prizes for the Disco Queen and King of JPY20,000 each and the food for all participants, organizers and entertainers.
