The Philippine Consulate General in Osaka, together with MWO-Osaka, successfully conducted a Town Hall Meeting with Filipino communities in the Kansai Region on March 21, 2026. The event gathered around 40 representatives from 26 Filipino organizations, promoting engagement, unity, and collaboration.
Consul General Donna M. Rodriguez highlighted the importance of accessible and responsive consular services, while updates on government services, including passport, civil registry, and overseas voting, were shared. MWO-Osaka also presented its programs and support services for Overseas Filipino Workers.
The open forum allowed participants to raise concerns, provide feedback, and strengthen partnerships with the Consulate. The event reaffirmed the government’s commitment to community engagement, improved service delivery, and support for Filipinos in Japan.
