OWWA E-CARD AS AN OFW'S PRIMARY IDENTIFICATION CARD AND VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID

In recognition of the various transactions undertaken by Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) with government agencies, private entities, and other institutions, theOWWA e-Card is hereby recognized as an OFW’s primary identification card and avalid government-issued identification document.

This measure supports the government’s Ease of Doing Business initiatives byreducing documentary requirements and facilitating more efficient transactions forOFWs in situations where proof of identity is required.

Accordingly, all concerned agencies, institutions, and entities are encouragedto recognize and accept the OWWA e-Card upon presentation by a member-OFW inconnection with any lawful and relevant transaction.The OWWA e-Card is available in both physical and digital formats throughthe eGovPH and the OWWA Mobile App. To verify the authenticity and validity of thecard, the QR code embedded in the OWWA e-Card may be scanned to access themember’s corresponding membership details.

THE OWWA E-CARD

The OWWA e-Card is issued to member-OFWs upon payment of the OWWAmembership fee of USO 25 and is valid for two (2) years from the date of membershippayment. This available in both physical and digital formats through the eGovPH andthe OWWA Mobile App. To verify the authenticity and validity of the card, the QR codeembedded in the OWWA e-Card may be scanned to access the member’s correspondingmembership details.
